The film was originally released, according to the IMDB, as Lust in the Sun (1958) Directed by Arthur Knight and Werner Kunz. The Producers are the one and only Dick Randall with Werner Kunz, and the Executive Producer (I'm thinking for the US release only) is none other than Stan Borden.

My guess on Pussycats Paradise is a film called Nudes of All Nations, Directed by Arnold Louis Miller with Stanley A. Long as the Director of Photography. The Production for Nudes... is Searchlight. The film was shot on location with Cooperation with the British Sunbathing Association in England and released in 1961.

Both Around the World... and Nudes... are linked with Advent with the former as the Production company and the later as Distribution, so this may provide an answer for you.

The Distributor of A Story of 8 Girls was Cinema Syndicate. Another AKA for this film is A Story of 8 Models (AFI #F6.4713)Robert Plantehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00399777702884446380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21221186.post-45929821730757678932007-08-18T04:08:00.000-04:002007-08-18T04:08:00.000-04:00Fascinating catalogue; as I always wonder about th...Fascinating catalogue; as I always wonder about the obscure films in these trailer comps that are never given any context.

For what it's worth, "Death Kiss" is also available on VideoAsia's "Terror Tales Vol. 2" DVD. It's VHS-sourced and probably questionably legal, but it *is* widely available. A ho-hum giallo clone, though I seem to remember it had a few stylish moments.

Keep up the good work, and I will enjoy catching up on the rest of the series you've worked through so far.Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15973692483075311204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21221186.post-1161796500441069312006-10-25T13:15:00.000-04:002006-10-25T13:15:00.000-04:00Coming up in Vol. 12!Coming up in Vol. 12!Robert Plantehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00399777702884446380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21221186.post-1161505427539867302006-10-22T04:23:00.000-04:002006-10-22T04:23:00.000-04:00How about "Sin For A Song"?It's trailer is a hidde...How about "Sin For A Song"?

It's trailer is a hidden bonus on "Wild Guitar & The Choppers" and I've seen it on a couple of videos, but the movie dosen't seem to exist.KaBluiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07032525501051762974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21221186.post-1159801288838878692006-10-02T11:01:00.000-04:002006-10-02T11:01:00.000-04:00Good stuff! Speaking in general, your noteworthy desire to catalog/ categorize/ compile & just generally MAKE A WHOLE BUNCHA LISTS has really been of both value & service to me more times than I can count (especially when researching the output of various labels, from Father Yod to Pickwick). So, thanks!

And as far as this series goes I, uh, anxiously await your review of that (koff koff)OUTSTANDING COVER DESIGN for volume 21 (though I note it's kinda been retooled from my original from 4 years ago).

...and thus ends my shameless self promotional plug (well, until you update your Estrus list & I can blather on about that last Dexateens album cover or something.)

But yes -- keep up the great work, and thanks again.Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01230497449085686841noreply@blogger.com
