On Amphetamine Reptile, featuring a better/heavier version of "Night Goat" than the one from 1993's Houdini LP. Pussy Galore cover on the flip. Joe Preston supplies the bass. Didn’t Preston publish a zine called Matt Lukin’s Legs? Immensely heavy.

I’m not the most qualified to make the proclamation, but apparently BFTG is the gold standard to which all other ’60s garage comps are compared. I certainly dig a few tracks off each one. Also love the trashy cover art Mort Todd gave to the series. And I love compiler (not curator, barf) Tim Warren’s ultra-orthodox rock & roll fundamentalist rants.
Very low-key and not as exotica-sounding as previous records. In fact I only really like the title track. Guess I’m just keeping it for completist’s sake.
