Not as big a fan of the Johnson era, but there were certainly good songs sprinkled among the records, including this Paris-recorded hit LP, which is pretty good despite Mutt Lange shaving the burrs off their sound (I like about half the record). Like its predecessor it couldn’t be avoided for months after its release late in the year. For the title track with its crushing intro, they went over the line from hard rock into metal.
