HOTEL, etc.

Fairly manly triple-feature on the Tri-City Twin's first screen, from January, 1971. HOTEL (1967) is a star-speckled melodrama toplined by Rod Taylor; no DVD in sight. COOL HAND LUKE (1967) is, of course, the Paul Newman prison classic. THE BALLAD OF CABLE HOGUE (70) is the Peckinpah western with Jason Robards.

Mr Plantweed - it's been a long time...

i'm enjoying these images a lot!

now i'm thinking of trying to track down an adcopy of the (drive-in) double bill i attended around 77 or 78, where i witnessed a biker gang beat the hell out of some kids in a pinto who hit a guy walking back to his car with popcorn!

i believe it was END OF THE WORLD (Christoper Lee)/LASERBLAST (!)

hope you're well...
